Welcome to 2 Generations Threads. I am a Registered Nurse who was sidelined during the pandemic for health reasons. I had a lot of  time to work on my sewing and embroidery skills.  A business was born. The passion of creativity passed from one generation to the next.

My grandmother, Margaret Barnes, was known as "The Doll Doctor" in Hampton, Virginia. She was an avid seamstress and very talented. I did not get to see her as often as I would like, as we lived in two different states. I hope that I can honor her memory by creating beautiful things that many people will enjoy.
